Spencer's Blessing Day

Spencer was blessed on December 7, 2008. He is such a sweet baby and didn't even cry while he was being blessed! Afterwards, we all went to Alan & Laura's new home for lunch. It was a great afternoon! We love you Spencer!

Katie talked me into wearing this Cleopatra costume for Halloween because, "The kids would really like it!" Little did I know that I would be the ONLY adult that dressed up. Oh well--the neighbors thought I was cool!

We had a great time carving pumpkins even if it ended up being more of a competition for the adults than anything else. I think we were able to convince the kids that they actually had something to do with the finished products!

Our New Baby Spencer

Spencer Clyde was born on October 20. He is soooo cute and we are sooooo happy to

welcome him to our family!!

My New House and My Garden

I love this room! It's really light because there are so many windows. For the grandkids, this is the "jump in the furniture room" because the adults are usually in the TV room! Ha!







Here's the kitchen. The countertops were in pretty bad condition when we moved in (white tile), so we had granite put in. We also had to replace all of the appliances and the sink. Now it's just like new and ready for our weekly Sunday dinners with the family!









Haven't done much with this room yet--our bedroom.

Here I am in my garden. I know it's the desert, but I just have to have some green in my life or I'm not happy! And, yes, that's a Diet Pepsi in my hand. :)
















Ahhh. . .it's just like the Garden of Eden--even if it is 120 degrees in the shade!!
