Sweet Ada--Our Ninth!

Wow! It seems that life is so crazy that I only update my blog when we add another grandchild to the fold! It is a great reason to blog though! Our sweet Ada was born on April 7 and she was 7 lbs. 6 oz. We all adore her, of course! Katie was a trooper and I feel so lucky that I was able to be present for the birth of another one of my beautiful grandchildren! Owen and Sam love to "hold" and kiss their new sister.

Spencer's Blessing Day

Spencer was blessed on December 7, 2008. He is such a sweet baby and didn't even cry while he was being blessed! Afterwards, we all went to Alan & Laura's new home for lunch. It was a great afternoon! We love you Spencer!

Hooray for Christmas

Here are a few pictures from the night we decorated the Christmas tree! Kids make everything so much more fun!!

Taking Inventory!

Here's Dorothy (Megan) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (Tate) checking out their Halloween candy. You can also see Maddie in the background checking her's out, however, she and Owen were out of their costumes the minute they came through the door!

What I Won't Do For My Grandkids!

Katie talked me into wearing this Cleopatra costume for Halloween because, "The kids would really like it!" Little did I know that I would be the ONLY adult that dressed up. Oh well--the neighbors thought I was cool!
